Default Single Carb on Banshee Question

I havent tryed it, but do a search there are many post on that subject. Seems to me many mixed emotions. Some say do it, the best thing I ever did, gained top and bottom. Others say it great for trail riding, but you lose on the top. I was looking into single carb at one time, but dont want to lose any topend.

It is a good setup for low end and mid range. If you are wanting top end don't buy it. Also very mild ported jugs will work from what I have read.

Default Single Carb on Banshee Question

My brother had that on a banshee he had, alond with a DynoPort 2 into 1 exhaust. It was a REALLy good combo! That Banshee had a GREAT power band, and he could stay right with my banshee with Toomeys, so his topend didn't suffer that bad. Not to mention it was one of the best sounding Banshee'd I'v ever heard, but that was the pipe.

Mine is all stock. I am going to just put t5's on it. So do you all think it will work ok? I do alot of trail riding also so that is why I looked for the single carb deal. Should I go with there reccomend trinty pipe or stay with my t5's?

Cool I'll try it out. What do think about the pipe? T5 or trinty? I would like to use the t5 as everyone has great luck with it, But do you think it will work well with the single carb?

Default Single Carb on Banshee Question

If i were you i would check out www.bansheehq.com there is a ton of info on banshees there. I have a single and it runs great. I changed mine to a single because it was easier to jet for the many different altitudes i ride in.
