Anyone sink their truck in the dunes?
I had a 88 Toyota SR5 that was built to the hilt for pre-running. No matter what we hit, jumped, plowed over, or barrel rolled over, that damn thing wouldn't break. Until we exploded the gas tank high-centering backwards on a rock. Punctured the tank, something sparked, kissed that thing goodbye. Man....I really miss that truck!!!

I thought that my 98 Ranger 4x4 was a pretty good 4x4 till I got it stuck in a friends field and it cost me
$ 50.00 to unburry it. These new trucks with " on the fly 4-wheel drive arn't ment for off roading. There made for the yuppys who never go seriously off roading.
I was at the south jetty last summer and noticed a crowd of people standing around next to there ATV'S and I rode over to see what was going on.
A guy had broke the Axle on his Banshee while jumping it, and went to get his truck to pick up the Shee and while going out to pick it up he went down into a switch back and got his truck stuck, then spun the right rear wheel off the rim. The truck was a new Dodge 1500 4x4 supercab with off road tires on it. It took like 3hours and cost him $400.00 he then had to load the Shee onto the back of the truck and change out the tire. Ruined his whole weekend.
