Finish polishing!

Default Finish polishing!

Well as of yesterday I finally finished polishing my clutch cover on my Raptor!! It looks great!! Not that hard to do at all! I'll post pics as soon as I get my quad together and finish polishing.

Looks nice BigBubba, I plan on doing some polishing this weekend on my quad. any pointers?

Paint stripper, steel wool, sand paper, and a dremel tool to get the small places. Those are all you need to do the whole job.

how did u polish the side covers?? I've played around with the skid plates but i would love to make my engine look better. Thanks, if you could reply to yeags30@aol.com

Just use the paint stripper to take the paint off (or most of it) then use about 150 grit to finish off all the paint and move to 600 after that and so on until you get to 2000 grit then just polish it with mothers alum polish. The 600 grit sanding part is prolly the most important take your time sanding it good with you are at this point because it is what smooths it out most after using the really gritty stuff. Looks great. That pretty case is gonna be ugly with a hole in it if your chain goes.
