I love the quad in those spy photos. It looks mean.

Who said anything about trading a banshee in for one of the new quads. Did that just come out of nowhere or something. I have a 99 banshee and wouldn't trade it in on one but i might buy the new thumper as well.

That is one aggressive looking machine! You can see the huge performance style exhaust on it so you know that they aren't messing around! Am I mistaken or does that look like a radiator behind that front nose plastic piece? That front suspension looks like an easy 10-11" of wheel travel. Also, in that middle picture, notice that the steering stem is is mounted on the same bars as the upper A-arms... It looks like some killer front-end geometry. With the size of those front calipers and brake resivoir, I'm also betting on twin-puck brakes up front.

That thing is production ready, just look at the squared-off plastic on the left front fender for accepting the warning placards.

I bet you that they will be on sale by August. I just hope that they update the Banshee, too.

How did you get the june dirtwheels? I got the may one just like a week ago!
Damnit I want one, but not a 600, I wish it were the 426 or something 400ish so I could race the 250r's and 400exs on the MX track.

I have to admit that quad is pretty mean looking. I just hope it won't weigh to much.

if it is liquid coled it CANNOT be the 600 Grizz motor. it takes ALOT more than slappin on a radiator and a couple of rubber hoses to make it a liquid cooled motor.

it is deffinatly gonna be a monster!!!! but beat a DS?!?!?! i'll beleive it when i see it. and i probably will

I read somewhere that there might be a chance that the engine is similiar to the 660cc, 4-stroke, liquid cooled, single cyl., 5 vavle (three intake & two exhaust), genisis engine that Yamaha currently manufactures for the German motorcycle manufacturer named "MZ".

Looking and the photos in "Dirt Wheels" I think that the engine is liquid cooled. We scanned the photos and put them into a photo-editer software and there do not appear to be any cooling fins on the cylinder.

Just my opinions
John
