Default Definite buy - Scotts Oil Filter

Thanks to all who recommended this purchase for the Raptor. This is probably the slickest, most well designed component I've purchased. Couldn't believe that it even came with a nice cloth strap for removing and installing (will hook up to any torque wrench) so you don't booger up the outside billet aluminum case. Normally I look at mechanical designs and can find many improvements but not with this one. My hats off to the design engineers at K&P Engineering.

I was sick of purchasing the expensive Yamaha filters so this will be a big help. I highly recommend this to others. No need to purchase any type of oil filter cover for a trick look...this is an all-in-one solution.

It is a little harder to justify on purchasing for the 400ex only because the filters are less than $2.00 but I will probably do it.

As soon as I saw the Scotts filter buying it was a no brainer!!
It'll pay for itself in time & is a very high quality product.
We had been using System 1 filters for years on race cars & I was actually looking to see if they made one for the Raptor when I heard about the Scotts.

i like it, 109 bucks....i have spent well over that in the last 3 years for those stupid filters!

"Cleanable and reusable Simply remove the filter, rinse in clean solvent and replace it, you're done."...
sound good to me!!!!!!!!!! looks much better then that stupid black filter!
