12:1 or 11:1 piston ?

Default 12:1 or 11: piston ?

which one do you think is better? Power difference ? which one is more reliable? better choice ?

both will give you the same reliability providing that they are put in right
11-1 high octand 12-1 race gas i dont know the #'s for power difference
but 1 went with the 12

go with the 11-1 it will be more cost effective in the long run(i.e. race fuel) unless you are wanting to build an all out big bore, and even then the performance will not be that noticable just my .02[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img]

alright thanks for the info guys. would a JE 11:1 piston and stage 1 hotcam work well together without porting the head?

Yes that would be a good combo a stage 2 without a ported head would not run as well as the stage 1, but if you plan on the port then spring for the stage 2 and springs all in all its up to you just trying to save you money in the long hall..

the only thing that i have a concern about is will i get a noticable enough power gain without porting?

definetly you will have power all around you will not be dissapointed with that combo

alright thanks for the info holeshot. Do you particually have this combo or have you seen one run? Also you CAN run the 11:1 on just high octane not race gas right ? Looks like i gotta save up some money. Any place you would recommend to get the piston at?

Iwill be running 11-1 with the stage 2 but it wil be a 686 also turn on your private messenger, and i will get you some info
