K&N with a Toomey B-1 or Toomey Air Filter?

Default K&N with a Toomey B-1 or Toomey Air Filter?
Is the Toomey B-1 pipe better with a K&N Filter or with the Toomey filter that comes with the kit?

I have found that the Toomey Air Filter starts to decay after a while. I just put the K&N on mine after I blew it up. It seems to be better.
