Our local dealer has one now, It's fast out of the hole. good power, but no more than expected from a 700. It's not going to outrun my Predator, or raptors. It's going to get the holeshot, but overall it's just to big and heavy to really throw around. It's alot like the polaris 700 sportsman with alot more power.

My brother is getting one and i can't wait to see how it performs. If I lose in a drag race oh well, I guess i could just attribute that to the fact of his motor being twice as big!
Like some people have said, i think its absolutely great that kawi came out with the 700. I think that its great to have all of these new sport bikes on the market. If the trend continues we have nothing to expect but bigger and better bikes from the other companies.

8 inchs of rear suspencion will keep it off the mx tracks. as for power though, it seems to have it. the belt drive can be a great help to the average rider, but maybe a hinderance to a great driver. the front end is suppost to be way light, so keeping it down is a challange.
all in all, i think its going to be a great quad. the larger engine(700) is going to force others( yamaha) to go bigger, as well as opening up the market to automatic riders. i have a blown out knee, and shifting is something i just cant do anymore without feeling pain after 20 minutes of riding. i bought a grizzly instead of a raptor due to this. now there is a quad that i think was made just for me, and others like myself, lol. its adding another market to the sport quad industry. ( exept for the scrambler)
and by the way, you should see the grizzly jump 660rnh, lol. i have gotten it 8 ft high, and covered 28 ft in the air. not raptor size jumps, but big grizzly jumping is fun too, lol
