Bought a new set of ITP 10' C-Series wheels and was wondering if I had to use the thin metal plate that goes on the hub before the wheel?

 

I believe the plate is more of a cosmetic thing for the stock wheels. After I switched to Douglas Wheels, I removed the plate and nothing changed as far as brakes or dirt getting on the pad goes. It more just a users choice, if you want it or not.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]
