Default Broke clutch spring bolt

Finally got to work on my raptor today. Putting it back togther I was tightening down the clutch spring bolts. I ran them in and went to torque them down to 5lbs. Doing the third bolt in a star pattern the bolt broke in half. Couldn't believe it. I got the remainder of the bolt out.

Anyone heard of this happening or is it just my Luck.

unless you have a good quality low lb range torque wrench, chances are you are over tightening.

Manual calls out 5.8ft.lbs.

Yes I ought to go get a smaller torque wrench. I have the 150lbs and the 80lbs. wrench. I will go get the smallest one. Thanks guys.
