You are new here so you may want to check out the search function. There have been a lot of good discussions lately on Banshee pipes and mods in general.

Search and you can read for days, also check out the banshee hq.com site lots of good info there also.

For pipes, sounds like you might want to look at fatties. They are a good strong all around pipe, if you wanted more of a top end pipe then toomey or cpi are tops. Also could check out LRD pipes. They are adjustable, so you could have an all around pipe there also.

Dump the stock filter, go with a pro design setup, or a toomey 2:1 or clamp ons. Probably a pro design if you are trail riding to keep any water out.

Of course any mods like this require you to rejet. Then you can get porting, reeds, carbs, cranks, chrome this and that, better tires, wheels, aluminum, chrome, gold plated bling bling...................ah the madnesss.....................stop the voices.............................

Default Banshee Mods???

I agree with Bat on everything but the Fatties. I had two banshees with the same mods except one had the FMF fatties and the other had Pro-Circuits. It was no contest. The PC equipped bike would pull 2 bike lengths on the FMF bike in just over 300'. The PC pipes as well as the T-5's are my recommendation for a mild banshee.
Pro-flo makes a great filter/intake that is similar to Toomey's 2N1 kit. It is awesome and I run it on my banshee.
Stock carbs do fine until you get into major motor mods. I would recommend having your reed cages modified or going with an aftermarket set.

Handlebars are personal preference. I have a set of O'neal Quad bars on my playbike and a set of O'neal CR HI bars on my TT bike. It just depends on how you want to sit on your quad.

Yeah, I was going off what others had said about fatties.

I dont know much about low to mid pipes.

I cant wait to try out my cpi, but probably going to wait until the stroker and porting are all done. Should be a fun ride.

Later
