Default Raptor bolt question

OK I might have lost a bolt, or maybe not. The one I am talking about is the allen, I think its an allen, that holds the plug, in the end of the cam. Did that make ANY sense? This is on the out side of the head and also has a bolt with a phillips head head in it too. The bolt I have in it now seems long but it fit. I noticed the oil line goes into the head right above this bolt. Anyway if this is the wrong bolt will it hurt anything? Please help.

Default Raptor bolt question

#31 if you click hereA link to make it easier but yeah #31

I think I have the right pitch, it went in perfectly, and now that you said 12mm I can check the one I have to be sure. I have one in it now is a regular bolt, not an allen, so I know its not the factory one. My only concern is its very close to where the oil line goes into the head, I just didn't want the bolt I have in it now to be too long and block oil off from somewhere. I'll check the length.

Hey guys THANKS A TON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GregV, its a secret. No when we were in CA I blew the base gasket one day, actualy the only day I rode, Saturday. I am just now changing it because I have been so busy. Man that thing made a mess! I have half of Glamis stuck to my frame/fender/engine. When I goes together this time I will not take it apart any time soon, unless its for repairs, which I hope not.

Thanks again

Default Raptor bolt question

I got one more for ya'll. The bolt, tiny little bugger, that goes into the clutch cover by where the rod runs into the cover (I hope you know because I can't find a picture of it in that parts list). Anyway its stripped and leaks a little oil. Anybody know how to fix it? I know 14mins is the same way but mine leaks a little worse than his. Whats that bolt for anyway? Does it hold that shaft in some how?

Ward I believe the bolt you are talking about is the one that holds the shift shaft in the cover and there should be a squish washer on that bolt. The washer that comes oem is copper.
The pitch on most of the bolts on the Rappy is 125 pitch.
If you need any of these bolts let me know and I will send them to you.
Just a side note I am sending you the shifter I told you about, just havent had time to pull it off my bike.
If you need the bolts they will be the same price...............FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

That is the bolt I was talking about. I think I found something to make it work. I needed it for this weekend, actualy not needed but it does make a mess. I found some 2 part paste that you put in the hole and screw in the bolt, then unscrew, supposedly forming threads. I'll try it. If it doesn't work Disturbed had a good idea that I will try.

Turbo33 thanks again for you EXTREME generousity!!!!!!! Take your time with the shifter, I am never in any hurry. Don't forget to PM me your address.
