I just put new lights on the Raptor. $40 at Walmart. They're about the size of the Trail Techs, have black housings and have a green ring around the lense that continues to glow green after you turn the lights off. It looks awsome sitting in the dark with those green eyes glowing.
I'll post some pics if I ever figure out how.

 

I seen the light you are talking about and thought about trying them out.

After the engine mods I've done my wife would kill me if I droped another 200 bucks on expensive lights so the 40 Wall Marts may have to work for me at least until I get the little lady calmed down again.

Would love to see some pics if you get them figured out.

yea that is the important ,i have some lights that i remove in the day and put on at night,so they dont get beat up.

 

I'm not sure on these, but I put a really cheap like 19.95 pair on my old warrior, and that thing was under water or mud more than it was anything else. I actually had to pop off the light covers and drain the water out of them.... but they still worked when I sold it!

 

I'm racing this weekend and I'm going to leave them on to find out. Plus, I kept the receipt incase they don't work. Wal Mart will take them back.
I was riding around last night (about 10 below zero) and they work great. They ive off a green glow but they are still pleanty bright enough. 55 wat bulbs.
