Installing graphics - any suggestions
#1
Just received new Maier silver plastic front and rear the other day. The front has much wider open slats than the non-silver fronts that I have seen. It has a built in protective screen. Anyhow, I also won the bid on a set of N-Style red/black graphics and seat cover on e-bay that arrived yesterday.
An upholstery shop is going to install the seat cover this week. I am going to wait for this to be done and also install the plastics on the quad to make sure of the fit. Once this is done, I want to install the graphics so the tank graphics line up with the seat cover. What is the best way to install graphics? It has to be perfect or I won't like it. Any suggestions? I think I saw a spray that allows the graphic to be slid around to position it. Not sure where though. Do I need a heat gun?
Thanks,

Another good trick is soapy water in a spray bottle. It helps you too slide the graphics around, squegee(?) out the excess water, and the soap dries like an adhesive. Used this practice many times applying graphics to my old Class 7 desert truck. And use the heat gun or hair dryer and fingers to "massage" out any wrinkles.
