I've seen rods on sudcos web site but I don't know if they would have one for the rappy or not or if it would be any better than stock. Might be worth a look though.Hearing about some of the rods failing is why I have'nt upt my comp. yet.

Man this sucks, I want to put my motor back in my Raptor. But now I will not feel safe unless I tear it back down and have a rod put it. I dunno who's more pissed, me or the wife. She wants to kill me because I want to spend more money on the Raptor.

Wash, I feel for you and your pocket book. Thats alot of money and I don't want my motor to look like yours.

My wife doesn't even know what the heck a rod is. But when I told her about the tranny thing she took it well. Maybe she is getting used to it.

Thanks for the link.

My wife knows what a rod is oh, wrong one. LOL

Whitebread, I don't think you have to tear it down all the way to change the timing chain do you?? I thought you were able to access and change the chain by removing the left side case cover??
