Default kodiak brake help

HELP! I just replaced the pads on my 01 Kodiak and I can't seem to get full braking power. I tried to bleed (or at least I thought I did) and added fluid but it doesn't stop like it should. Can anyone give me some tech help on what to do and maybe a quick lesson on brake bleeding? If not, are there any tech web sites that could help? Thanks.

Default kodiak brake help

Come on guys. Please! I don't want to have to go my dealer. I know there is a lot of mechanical knowledge on this board. How about a little help. Thanks again.

Default kodiak brake help

try the www.highlifter.com yamaha forum search,i don't own a kodiak but you probably still got some air,try putting some clear tubing on the bleeder valve and put in a clear glass with fluid in it,submerge the line under the fluid to see when the bubbles quit coming out while you pump the lever, but do not run the res. dry that will add air again.lol
