2002 raptor gearing

Default 2002 raptor gearing

I have doen a search on this topic but everyone seems to be talking about 2001. i have 20 inch razors on the back and am not to shure what gearing to try. I have a 12 tooth on the front now and that seems to low. Any help would be great. i also weigh about 230.

Default 2002 raptor gearing

The quickest and cheapest thing you can try is a 13T for the front sprocket. That will give ya faster top speed and a little less low end.

Take a look at the sidewindersprockets.com ratio chart (or just divide rear by front) and you can predict the outcome of changing sprockets. Taller rear tires gives the same effect as increasing the size of the front sprocket.
