Vforce isnt a sport quad, however, take it up against any stock quad...hehe.

Im up for any challenges on the trails, when im done with my mods, no way they will catch up with me...heh

some facts to consider from our test track :
One of my friends has an 01 raptor with all the "power" mods ...
...... (pipes/jets/k&n/sprockets/ widened two inches)
Vforce is still stock .... haven't even checked the tire psi at this time...

on a 150' strip.... Vforce wins by a bike or two every run.
on a 600' strip .... Raptor wins by a bike or two every run.

I have been promised an exhaust system for the Vforce next week...
promising 7-8 hp with a dual system ...... will let you know [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

I would tell you that a stock raptor doesn't stand a chance.... but

Well, I raced a VF in the woods and spanked it, but we dragged and spanked me. The VF I raced was fast, but wasn't great for jumps and woods. I'm not so sure about an automatic quad, sounds booooooring.

I can't wait until he gets some modifications on his VF! Just gonna make it more challenging for myself.

EX- get a rappy. Fix its shortcommings and cruise on. The raptor is the quad! The z400 is underpowered, the polaris looks a little cheap. To much low grade parts on it. None are perfect to start with but the raptor can be made into a quad you will ride forever.

 

completely stock witch would most likely win a drag race 660r, predator,kfx400and what are some of the dis advantages in each quad if any ,thanx[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Stock the raptor would win. For under a grand in motor modds it will fly. You can find big HP gains in the rappy for little money. Downside to rappy?? 1. Might have weak rod??? I have not seen anyfailures in my large modded group. 2. known to be tippy. lol maybe so. Get a wider real axle. 3. one ways are know to go out.

Downfall to z400- frame,power, cost to modify low rev limiter
downfal to polaris- cheap controls, noisy tranny, does not liked to be piped/jetted yet. 1st year quad.

14mins - you said the predator has to manylow grade parts on it. What the hell are you talking about. It has the most aftermarket parts stock on it than any other quad. I gave 5670 for my pred plus tax. It comes stock with doughlas rims, razr tires, braded lines, fox shocks, aftermarket axle and more. Looked at the Raptor 6299 plus tax and would atleast cost me another 2000 in tires, shocks, extended axle and arms to even get close to the handling of the predator. I think your statement is alittle out of line. Could it be because you own a raptor?
