not hard at all, just stick it in there and see if it stops. the dnr at bull gap barely even put the stick in when he was checking pipes.

well, every single time we have been there, there has not been a DNR officer there. (knock on wood) on the way back from town though, we got pulled over by a cop. but thats a hooole different story.

lol We had a DNR scare one time. We were on the trail on our way back to the campground, you know, the one on the lake? Anyway, the legal trails ran out, so we had to do about a mile and half on the roads back to camp. We were on 2 raptors, a rancher es, and a blaster. The blaster and rancher were just about pegged at 50 all the way. Halfway through the ride we saw a dnr truck come go around the corner. We all crapped our pants and got ready to surrender. But he just drove his truck right by us, like nothing was wrong. I thought maybe the road might have been ok for atvs, but when i checked the map later that night, they were car only roads. Got off that one pretty easy. Ive only seen dnr 2 times at bull gap, and they seemed pretty cool.

I got a $75 ticket at bull gap last year over Memorial Day for being right at 100 dB. They said that "the law states 94dB is the legal limit, but we allow up to 100dB". I asked, then why are you giving me a ticket, I am not over 100dB and I am being a good boy. She said in a stern, butch voice, " UP TO 100 DB, NOT INCLUDING 100"

That is my story and I am sticking to it.

RR1

P.S. I will be using my T.E.C quiet end caps at Silver Lake, at least until I get past the gate!

Thats goofy. If the legal limit is 94dB, then most sport quads, inluding the rappy, are right at the limit or louder. Some DNR guys can be like that, but it was probably because it was memorial day weekend. They are real sticklers on holidays.

Change of plans...........we are going to be staying at the Dune Front Hotel. It is right there with-in walking distance of everything, food wise, and for $5-$10 more I can get a Jacuzzi room and be right in the middle of the tourist trap.

lol. well, the main road going into town clearly states: "mixed traffic" with a car and an ATV on it. and on that lake? it aint a lake, lol. sure seems like it, but its actually the river. and uh, what had happened to us, was our trucks starter had died well in the parking area, so we drove to town on the road, and lucky for us, my moms best friend, (and co-worker, were staying at that campground), so we went there and got him and his truck. we were driving back, and guess what came around the corner.....the big 5-0. lol. the cop lit up the lights and stopped us. this is why he pulled us over: my friend witht he 300ex was on the wrong side of the road and we were going to fast. he didnt check anyone for ORV's, or even get out of his car, he told us to go slower, and to stay on the right side of the road. he was cool.
