Default 2 stroke help

i have a 50cc 2stroke for my son that auto mix's the oil. the problem that i am having with it is when it is run at high speed for about 2-5 min. it seems to loose power big time. when i get on it it bearly moves and when my son rides it its slow. any help is apriciated. thanx

Well... there is your prob, the "auto mix" is messed. Running at high speed with lots of power is a sign of a LEAN condition. When it looses the power, its over heating. This could cause lots of damage if its happened several times. Pull off that hunk of junk auto mix system and just premix the gas and oil. I dont know its ratio, but a normal 2 stroke runs anywhere from 20:1 to 32:1 with yamalube, and 50:1 with Amsoil synthetic. Also check for a leak somewhere between the carbs and cylinder. A boot could be cracked, letting in air and making it run lean. Make sure the jetting isnt HORRIBLY off. Unless its a reputable brand of a mini, it is prone to have something go wrong with it eventually.

exactly. injectors go bad all the time. except on the TS!!! lol
