Just be sure to upgrade the parts when you do the mods to make it go faster. Yamaha forgot to put in strong parts to accomadate those who want to go faster. They barely made it strong enough to withstand a stock machine.

I've replaced every moving component except ft wheel bearings...but when your riding wheelies all day that doesn't ever need attention.
I would look at them anyways though. Better safe than a lock up.

what did you do to it??
I am minus the end cap (thus eliminating my spark arrester....not recommended..)on my e-series now. I flipped the 14 disks from standard position too backwards for reduced turbulence and too promote air flow. The "disk" concept still creates a suction (one can still oddly feel this through the disks).....but much more muffler surface area is available. After re-jetting mains 3 times and needle adjustment 7 times....I needed 10 sizes larger mains for the engine too ne in the zone. Top end is another animal. Wound up going too bristol this weekend instead of riding. I will be back on board this up-coming weekend for a better overall assesment.....but I think the verdict is thumbs up. Later guys.
