Need Carb Help
#1
Well, Yesterday I adjusted my valves with ease then attempted to pull the carbs off to re-jet. To my amazement the easiest part turned out to be the hardest. All but 2 screws that hold the float chamber to the carbs stripped and I had to use vice grips to get them off. Changing of the main jets and the Pilots were so easy. I am glad now I did it myself. I put it all back together and took it for a quick boot in my underground garage.Seems ok so far. Won't know till I get up north. My question is does anyone know the size of those screws because if I have to jet one size down the screws will surely be pooched and I wanna get some before I have to do that. Thanks to all who helped me with advise and how to's when it came to re-jetting. I just save 150 bucks from the stealership. CHEERS!!!

Thanks sixsixt. I havn't tested yet but this is what specs I did for summer weather at 800 ft above sea level. L@155 & R@160, 25 Pilots, Sock Needles on the 3rd slot, Air/Fuel 2 3/4 turns out L and 3 Turns out R. I have a Big Gun Pipe w/ Stock headers with a Pro Design Air Filter (Foam) Lid on with snorkel flaps removed. Do you think jetting will be close?
Thanks
Thanks

Very close. It might be a hair rich up top but that is better than lean. Might need to go down one size when it gets hot out or run with the lid off.
