If you have extra spending money on the quad of your choice, I would get the blaster. Point being that you can get the best bang for your buck.pipe it first, then haveit ported. CT did a port job on my last blaster that I had last year for 450.00 it included porting,dck,re-chamber head, a ct pipe and silencer, and a jet kit. But see with a 4-stroke the price would probaly be 6-700 bucks (just a guess) because you have to have the valves, and all of that other little stuff to be dealt with. The blaster that I had last year was an 89, it had a fmf fatty with a power core 2, ct porting (didnt need their pipe),DG nerfs, itp rims with hoosiers on it, and a dura-blue sway bar. now i didn`t do the greatest at times but i did beat 400exs!

First off, thats what he asked about speed/power. Nothing insulting unless you are insecure in your manhood. ANYONE can buy speed and power but between the two the EX is the better all around bike Period. Now if your preference is a smaller bike, with worse suspension, crappy tires and love mixing gas please get the Blaster. YOU will be roosted by the EX. As far as me racing you on your Raptor anytime princess. Hope you don't mind me riding my Predator though. The thing is I know there are faster Raptor and Banshees than my Predator but not all of them. I love to race and would enjoy pitting my bike against your Raptor because they are in the same class. A blaster and a EX aren't. Again if you want the the best bike out of the two get the EX.
