Greasing the Raptor
#1
Help,
Do any of you have a problem greasing your raptor's bearings? I have a good quality grease gun and use lithium grease but for the life of me whenever I hook up to the zerk fitting and start to pump the grease pushes the nozzle off and grease just blows out around the fitting. The harder I press the nozzle on, the harder it is to pump the gun and it still won't go into the bearing???????????? Any ideas?

Yamaha grease jerks are about $3.00. There are not the same jerk as lets say your standard car jerk.
Be carefull when pulling the gun off because one of mine pulled right off when I pulled the gun off.
One of my upper a arms will not take grease either even with a new fitting. Its looks full of grease with the fitting off though.

If you jiggle the tires and there is slop, it jerk needs lubed. I can really feel when mine needs lubed. I recently got 344 more hours out of my porch light than advertised....pretty good huh?
