extra '01 Raptor engine build-up...

yeah, I know the feeling about the '01. But on the bright side, if you did a 730 at least you would already be in the engine to do the tranny. I heard somebody say before, if you buy an '01 you need to go ahead and factor in the $$$ for the tranny swap.

I'm not really sure check Craycrafts web site or give him a call, he has a kit with all the parts needed. I am getting mine now but with other stuff so I don't know for just the tranny parts.

Alaska,
Give Bob at Craycraft a call. My tranny was under $500 for all parts, clips, washers, gears, shaft, etc. from Bob. You may want to go ahead and order the circlips for the water pump gear, oil pump gear, and tone wheel as well. You can re-use the stockers but why not put in new for $5.00 total while you're in there.
Bob is the man!

Ward and slappie-- thanks for the assistance, I've been in e-mail contact with Bob and I'm definitely going to go with him for the engine work and the tranny parts. I'm going to give him a call next week sometime after I get the engine in (gets here Monday), and then the fun will begin
