There is a gasket in the OEM connection but I dont know if DG requires it for theirs. First fit the canister over the header, then adjust it so that you can bolt it up to the subframe. It may take force, it may take patientce.

I have a dg xcellerator pipe on my raptor 350 and it's great. it's loud and you'd be amazed by how much preformance you can get out of it. the only problem that i have is the header. i wanted to get a much shorter than stock when i bought my pipe but i couldent find one. ive seen shorter ones now but i don't know where they came from. i think dg's are a good buy.
