Warrior has no spark
#1
I bought a 98 Warrior knowing it didnt run. So I tore into it and found no spark. So far this is what I know or changed. I started at the plug, changed that out. Then the coil. Changed that out. So I checked for power at the little orange wire at the coil. There wasnt anything. So I figured maybe the CDI was bad. Bought a used one and still no luck. I checked the wiring. Seems everything is in order. So I think its narrowed down to the stator. How can I tell if the stator is bad? Where can I get one used? How hard is it to change? Thanks for any help.

I know stators can be a little pricey for most bikes,In rocky mountain atv they sell the Electrex I havnt used this product myself but have heard it works the same as if not better than stock rocky mountain sells it for $175.99 i dont know if you can get it cheaper n e where else, but if it will work for you i think its cheaper than stock yamaha, as far as changing it goes its a pretty simple task, if you have a clymer manual or dont need one then you can save some money by not taking it to the dealer..........
