i thought cannodales were a bunch of hype from the few i had seen and raced. well over spring break we went to the coast to ride, and another forum member says he will be there with bomb and a few friends and one with a cannondale, so not thinking much about it were riding and i'm on my wifes ds it has a cdi and a pipe and regeared for were we run, it runs real well and with her size it has a chance against most machines( not the really modded ones). so i'm on her machine and up rolls this dale well the guy never stopped rolling so i think i could chase him down well not quite, if he would stop and we got close to the same start the ds would take his but not by enough to relax. i've never seen one run that good i would say most were 2 quads slower that i have seen. well i don't know if they weren't set up right or this was one of those freak machines. but this one would spank any other stock machine that i've seen.

 

Stock for stock, I'm not sure. I own a pred, and when I had that stock gearing, I ran dead even with a raptor, drag and top end. I met a guy on an MX cannibal, moto mapping, and HMF exahust, no gear changes, but had 18" rear tires. I went 1 tooth larger rear sprocket on my pred. Long story short, I stayed right with him on the mx track, and if we hit straightaways I pulled away pretty good, and on top end he couldn't touch me. Not sure how that comparison will work. He let me ride his cannondale, and I really didn't like it too much, pretty glad I bought my pred. If I could afford another quad, it would be a raptor!

 

Thanks for all the replies. I almost bought one a year ago when I got my Rap, not recently. But hind sight beig 20/20, I', glad I went with the Rap. I still would like to Cdale make it.
