oil leak in my pipe

Default oil leak in my pipe

hi all i have some oil leak in one of my head pipe from the cylinder and its black is it normal to leak like that or what .

where is this leak... at the head in the acually "pipe" or where the silencer hooks up.. need info... tac it up if its acually on the pipe is its black... just may be a factor of running to rich

in the head side acually pipe and yes the leak is black

do u know how to mig or tig weld ? if u do run some water through ur pipe tp get some of the gas out and weld it up on light heat so u dont put bigger leaks in it... the grind and whala... no leak

how to do that can you show me the way to do it or if you have any website showing how to do it ?

Default oil leak in my pipe

it wont hurt anything..i have the same prob w/my cpi's...its just because of the o ring inside of the head pipe has worn out and you either need to replace it or put some high temp silicon inside there and mount it and let it sit overnight w/out cranking it..and the black liquid is just exhaust...are you on alky?if soo..that will be another reason it is blowing it out..but it will not hurt anything..

no i think it will do something... i have a 90 lt 250 and i had a rip pipe also.. lots of oil came out.... i welded it up and spray painted it all black... lemme tell u i got major torque back.. feels like a whole new bike

lt its not from a whole in the pipe its from the pipe not being mounted to the cylinder very good and all you need to do is reseal it around the cylinder and it will stop the leak

oook now i see ya some high temp sealant should fix that up
