BLASTER VS. RAPTOR

No doubt a raptor is better and quick, but I have been reading some forums and raptor owners say there stock raptors would only run around 68 to 70.
Call me crazy but I have a 03 blaster and my buddy rode beside in his truck down the hiway and said according to his speedometer I was going 64 (top speed) and this is on a stock 03 blaster. No his truck isn't jacked it is a new truck with no modifications (so the speedometer is not off) Does this sound right to any others.

Well I will be honest with you, a blaster is a outdated quad, but is good for young kids 10-13. There is no way that you could ride a blaster and have any where near the fun you would on a Raptor, plus that blaster would not do the stuff that raptor would do.
You can build blaster to be a really fun bike, but you would be way better off with a Raptor!

I am 5'11 and I have owned a 250R and a 350X (both 3 wheelers) No doubt both would spank my blaster, but I have just as much fun on my blaster as I did those others. Everyone says it is to small for little kids, but I like it cause I can throw it around (everything else is to dang heavy) Go into a turn or a jump and you can take control of a blaster.

Before I bought my banshee I bought my wife a 2000 Blaster and it was a blast, looking at the Banshee I thought they were compairable machines until I saw what the Banshee could do and owned one. It's twice the size and weight and has a lot more power. The Raptor like the Banshee can go places the Blaster can only dream about and with time and skill you will be able to throw the Raptor around like you can with the Blaster. Look at Rickey Carmichael, he throws that CR250 around better than most guys twice his size.
