Default what grade of fuel do you use?

I bought my new le raptor about 3 weeks ago. Ive been putting 89 octane in mine since the first fill, I been noticing it studdering quite a bit more lately, I'm not really sure if its because of the cooler weather or the fuel. Should I change grades of fuel? What grades do you guys use?

93 is a good bet, but I have ran 87 (regular) most of the time and never had a problem. You dont need anything higher than 93 for a stock raptor.

You may have just gotten some water in the tank or a bad batch of gas. Also check the carbs for any dirt or problems.

I've run 87 octane in mine since day one.
All I've done to the engine is a pipe & airbox mods with jetting.

Man this post hasn't helped much, quite a broad range of answers, lol. No, I do appreciate everyones reply, I think i will try 93 octane next and see how that goes and then go from there if problems still arise.

if it is stock you shouldnt be having problems with pump gas. you might need to look into other problems or even need to change your jetting or something else. Is the choke cable correctly tightened? is the quad warmed up enough when you ride? Lots of questions come to mind.

Did the studdering happen all of a sudden or did it gradually come and get worse? There's many things that it can be,
