Default Exhaust wrap for Raptor

Has anyone here wrapped the exhaust pipes where they leave the head near the oil tank on the raptor? I just installed the cfm performance oil tank and it comes kind of close to the exhaust. The pipes seem to super heat the tank. I was thinking about pulling some of the header wrap off of the headers of my car and trying them out. What do y'all think?

I think that is the stupidest thing that Yamaha did besides having the raptor so narrow and having the radiator unprotected. Having the headers near the oil tank dosn't help its performance. Yeah I would go ahead and put the exhaust wrap on it.

Yes it would be a good idea to wrap up the exhaust if it is that close to the oil tank.
