twist trottle
#2
If you do a lot of long runs in the desert or dunes, the twist is great. But for tight, woods riding or MX the thumb works best for me. I found myself grabbing the twist too much jumping in MX races and come down full-throttle. If you ride dirt-bikes a lot, it will feel more natural for you with the twist, otherwise, it takes some getting used to.

I agree with Psycho. I have the Pro Motion Twist and would hit full throttle when I would land. It was even worse through the whoops. I switched back to the thumb throttle. What a waste of money. I guess you just have to get used to it.

now that i'm used to it i like it even found it a little annoying when i hopped back on my sled and had to used a thumb wouldn't switch it on that though at first i didn't think id like a twist but now i like it probably will never go back jmo

i like the twist alot better because i grew up riding dirtbikes, but the twist on a quad takes a bit to get used to. Once you do, you will love having all your fingers holding on to the bars when goin through the bumpy sections.
BlasterRyder-i know what you mean it is weird when switching back to a thumb throttleon a sled, but i think i might try a twist throttle on my sled next year. i have 40mm carbs so the throttle pull is a little to heavy for a thumb throttle.

ya they tried that twist on that one ski thing (i forget what its called)
i mountain ride so i think that you would have a hard time side hilling with a twist but who knows it could be good.
i think it all comes down to preference
