Default Splitting raptor engine case

I'm replacing the one way bearing on my raptor. My service manual is on order, but I want to go ahead and get my hands dirty. This leads me to few questions: Do I split the case on the starter side? Do I mess with the starter cover at all? Also, how do I get all the shavings from the bearing out of the motor if any are in there? Thanks guys, you've all been of great help with all my questions before!

you will only have to remove the left side cover, and the flywheel. You will need a good puller and the manual. you can download the manual in pdf online almost anywhere for free.

Thanks Raptorcam! You rock! I'm gonna return my manual and get the money back to go toward the bearing. Thanks again!
