Fender extensions for Y2Kodiak

I have a 2000 kodiak with 27" blackwaters. The fenders do not seem to keep the mud away. Mud seems to come up and over the back fenders while spinning forward quite easily. The mud also shoots up from the front tires and comes back over the front fenders directly on the rider when spinning in reverse. Since the tires are wider than stock, mud from the front tires seems to constantly spray up towards my legs and rear fender. This happens while just riding on slightly muddy trails, as well as when traveling through mud bogs. Does anyone else seem to have this problem with the tiny fenders on the new kodiak, or is it just the tires? Has anyone seen fender extensions, or flares, or mudflaps for the kodiak? Any information would be helpful, thanks.

I have 27" Blackwater XT's on ITP rims which does set the tires out about 3" on each side.I have the same problem.I know with the factory tires/wheels they set under the fender and mud is not much of a problem.I think this is just something I will live with for the advantages of gain in ground clearance and stability on hillsides.I havn't seen any fender extentions I thought looked very good.I'm more concerned with getting a little softer ride.Any info on this would be helpful.
