I own one and it is fast then i got Toomeys, Now it is FASTER.It wasnt meant for tight trails trust me .It is made for haulin ***. I think you should get a new/used raptor660, KFX 700 or 400EX for trail riding. If you do want to slide off the seat after you gas, get the banshee with toomeys . Other wise get a 400EX or a raptor , A KFX IS fun I rode one the other day, It is also good at trails, mx, and getting your *** moving fast down a road.Almost any 2-stroke is bad at trails. So i would get a KFX. I had no trouble on the MX track with my banshee.(I had my honda before i had my Banshee, thats why my name is hondaracer) Good luck

There are a lot of Banshee owners that have answered this same question over and over and over and.....

Ok, well for power and acceleration, a 2 stroke that is modded and setup correctly cant be beat. For handling, the banshee is supposidly not the best. It does not handle as well as my ds did, but compared to the raptor I really dont notice much difference. The banshee is a little front heavy compared to the raptor.

Banshee's have been used for every type of racing done in the last 15 years or so. They can be setup for whatever it is you wish.

I think they are better in the dunes and desert, then trails and mx, but that is personal opinion, and that is where I ride.

I have 2 banshees, and love them. I would reccommend it to most people, as long as you are not new at riding.

Hope that helps some.

Banshee's are great. I would recomend them to ne one. If you set it up for racing the banshee is unstopable. If your a smaller guy it will toss you around tho. I would recomend longer a'arms, rear axle, pipes, and new shocks.

I only have one gripe about my Banshee, it goes through a set of tires bout every two months, no pavement. I like to run Ohtsu or Dunlop and I know they don't last long anyway but its getting expensive. I don't have a problem with the Shee on the trail but the skid plate is low and it doesnt protect much. I can ride my Shee longer and harder than I ever rode my 440EX. Your gonna need lots of endurance if your gonna MX a Shee. It can be done with success. I recommend you leave off the Toomeys and get an MX port job done and some shocks. I only wiegh 135 and stock shocks work great but if you're any bigger than that I'd get some shocks. Good Luck Dude
