hello, i am looking for a new sport quad, and i want to know how it handles, the exceleration, and the overall speed and power. i will eventually be racing the quad. i am temporarally going to be using it for trail riding though. besides having to play around with the clutch a lot, how is it on the trails. thanks in advance for your posts.

I will put it this way, the Banshee aint the most efficient ride "BUT" it is by far the most exciting one...The fun factor is unmatched by anything that has ever been produced atv wise! But if your thing is MX racing then you would be better off with something else.In stock form the handling is descent but not great, its powerband makes it a pain on an MX track and will wear you out pretty quickly.

I was much faster on the MX track with my MUch slower LT 250 R compared to my Banshee.

Man you gotta be careful riding banshees around tight corners. My friend has one with a DMC alien pipe and when I try to go around the turns on that thing and powerband kicks in, oh man. I either wheelie or pop it up on 2 wheels which isnt good when you arent used to the quad. They are great dunes and pit riding quads and if modded enough, can be competitive on the MX track. They haul once in powerband. It hits harder than my CR80 expert did and that bike flew.
