Does the clutch spring back at all after you pull in the lever and let go? When you put the cover on, did the pull lever and pull rod mesh together properly? Also, when you put the clutch plates and metals in, when you installed the clutch boss and pressure plate, did you align the marks there?

I have some decent pictures on my site. http://www.raptortranny.com/clutch.php if it will help. Sounds like the other guys are right on though it is one of those or you forgot the throw-out bearing.

Thanks guys got that figured out . But now it only goes in to the first three gears it acts like it is a 3 speed. What now? Runs good in the 3 gears though. Just wish I had the rest.

Dont say that... Its not like when I lost second then I could still skip to third but now it just wont shift anymore.. I am hoping it is something that I missed like an adjustment somewhere??

Shift forks, shift drum, Those are between the cases. Maybe the shift shaft assembly, take that clutch cover back off and look at that first. Good luck. Hope it's with in the shift shaft assembly and not inside.
