Default Banshee- Fuel

My Banshee recently started bogging and won't keep up the RPM's. I recently ran it out of gas, and I put more gas in, but now it just sputters and stalls. I think it might be a clog in the fuel hose from the tank to the carbs. Any other thoughts. Thanks.

you may want to check your jetting and spark plugs you may have fouled them out, also most people idle around on their bikes, this will foul the spark plugs out in a minute and will run like crap till they are changed. when i ride i bring at least 2 extra pair of plugs, and a bunch of jets just incase i need to change them.

Most likley as said before, its your plugs. Before u load the pipes with more gas, replace them with quailty ones. Dont buy the B8es, buy either EG, EV, or EIX. Those will last MUCH longer and will run all around better. Make sure to gap them at about 30. Ive heard of people not gapping them, and that really cuts away from performance. I bought mine used, and it wasnt much to speak of. Next time I rode it, I put new EG plugs in with a 30 gap, and it felt like a new machine. I see in your signature that you are getting Toomey T5's. Dont waste your money. Get either CPI inframe, FMF SSt, or Pro Circuit. Even toomey says that all 3 of those pipes make more power than their T5.

the t5's are good pipes they way toomey says it is thier pipes make less bottom end power but they rev out to about 2 or 300 rpm's more than the pc or fmf sst's, ive ran the b8es's since if purchased this bike and have had no problems with them as long as you dont sit there putting around and let them get full of oil. also about gapping the pluggs the only way ive notice any power gain or loss is when they are gapped to far apart. pushing them in close works best when you have an alcohol set up from what ive seen. ive been running bill's pipes for a good while now and ive noticed they rev out to about the same as toomeys but they have a little less top end and a little more bottom end, which is good when your trying to get out in front. hope this helps you out.
