I was looking at the sons blaster the other day and pulled the snorkle off, then I was looking at the inside of the lid and thought I would cut the tunnel out. Do you think this will help any? Next I was looking at the pipe and pulled the end cap off, would this let the quad breath and run alittle better? And last I've heard of people disconnecting the TORS box so the quad would rev a little higher with out pulling spark from every 4th or 5th stroke, is this true and if so where and how do I do this? If there are any I'm missing please fill me in. Thanks!

i left mine alone and it revs all the way out. just get a good pipe, i'm happy with the toomey, comes with airfilter, jet, etc, and you'll solve the problem all at once.
Making it noisier wont make it faster as two strokers are sensitive to jetting. changing the exhaust can lean the engine out enuf to seize it. and modding the airbox lets more air in, but not changing the exhaust doesnt let that air out. and those quads are really choked!
anytime you mod sumthin on a 2 stroke be ready to rejet. its really sensitive to it.
All TORS does is supposedly prevent it from overrevving. i've never seen one actually work. hehe It was meant for stuck cable, out of control, etc. it doesnt limit performance.
If you decide to tinker, make sure you ride a little and pull that plug, check it for color. dont seize it! be careful! and have fun!

I was thinking of cutting the airbox and removing the end cap and then jet up one main jet.
