It has stock plastic(good shape slightly faded)

Has DG Pipe and silencer and an afermarket skid plate, and a new clutch levers, cables, ect.

Frame is dirty, no rust but painting is fading fast

Tires are in good shape, at least a summers worth of wear.

Totally rebuilt engine, bottom and topend. Hasn't been ran more than 15 minutes since rebuild.

RUNS EXCELLENT! Shifts smoothly(even with me shifting!)

He said they have 1900 in it. Paid 1750 and have the rest in the rebuild.

I can get it for 1800 out the door.

I have bought stuff from them before, seem to be really honest. nice people altogether.

what do you guys thing? buy? PASS or run away very fast?

 

Im from Idaho and one of my riding buddies bought a 98 blaster for $2000 with tax and registration from a local dealer. It had dg nerf bars, dg front bumper, and a dg pipe. So I dont really know if $1800 is a good price where you live or not.

 

BUY! Just do a little touch up...

 

I wasn't complaining about the frame or plastic. A nice set of Maier Blue and White plastics would fix that. And the frame. Get it power coated white. and a new set of Aluminum Bars.

It also has new Brakes, Bearings, O-ring chain, Sprockets, and Seat Cover.

He wants me to trade my Trailblazer for it. I am going to play a little. Tell them i want some grips and maybe a cheap helment.

I just went and looked at a 97, what a POS!

They wouldn't tell me what they did to it.
It was beat up, and they wanted 2,000.

And the woman that was showing it to me was a total ditz.

 

Follow your heart. If it looks like it is in good shape and does not seem to be abbused it probably hasn't. But whatever you decide don't look back i know that one all too well :-)
