In my experience with Atvs. Poloris's aren't that great. My best friend has a polaris trail somethin' 250 and right now it is in the polaris garage. He has been out with me 10 or so times and all of those 10 or so times, something went wrong with it. Most of the time it is something with his transmission. Hes has the automatic PVT trasmission, i think thats what its called. I have a 94 yamaha blaster purely stock down to the original tires. My next atv is going to be either a Yamaha Wolverine or a Honda Rancher 4x4.

I have a '98 Wolverine. I just installed the 424 Select a few weeks ago. It sure handles different in 2WD. It has a much sportier feel. You have to lean your weight alot more in 2WD. It feels alot more top heavy, for some reason. Doing donuts and powers sliding is easy. I think you should get the Wolverine and instal the Warn 424 Select. Then you will have the best of both worlds. By the way, the 424 Select instals easy. You can do it in about 2 hours. Good Luck!
