S o do you guy think it will be dangerous this weekend out there?...How many people will be there you think?

 

I wouldnt say real dangerous. Just be more careful. Alot of drunks and idiots that show up on holiday weekends. Just remember watch the tops of the hills and look all directions. You should be ok. A group of my realtives and friends are all going. Look for my brother on a rappy. He looks alot like me and has a similar build. Around 6'3 and 320+. Hard to miss him or I out there. I believe they are going Friday or Saturday. Close to 500 bikes or so will probably be out there. Does not seem like alot but in that small of an area. They will be parked out to the Hwy. and it will be a traffic jam getting in and out.

P.s. get there early as you can for parking. If you show up after 8am you will have to ride your bike from the hwy.

 

Last time I went on a holiday weekend a bike coming from a side trail hit a bike rigth next to me during a race. We were at speeds of over 60 mph with at least 8 bikes running in a known race lane. The holiday before that my son got hit on his brand new (1st time out) blaster by a drunk on a 4x4. Lukely no one was hurt in either wrecks but the bikes got messed up pretty good. I would prefer to go the weekend after. (31-1) SAFER for everyone!

If I'm at the dunes look for an ugly warrior with aluminum front rims and white rears (ill try to wear my maxxis shirt [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] ), and maybe a 440ex with cut fenders.

I got three places, my friend owns 300+acres with lots of fun stuff, my other friends aunt has a nice trail system behind her house, and at my own house we have a sand bar and a long patch of dirt trail about 1 mile long cleared by some company who maintains bunch of dirt mounds to keep a rich neighborhood next door from flooding. The actual hills are fun to play on too.

 

Jackal as soon as I get my bike back together I will make a trip to Shreveport to ride. I will let you know as soon as I can. I will be in Shreveport the next two or three weekends.

 

Hell Ya I will be there, I don't know what I will be bringing thow!
