Default Foam filter cleaning and Oil Changes

How often do you all clean your filters and change your oil for the Raptor? I know what the service manual says but I would like to know, if you all clean your filter after a day of riding, change your oil after it is a tad black, etc.

It all depends on how much you ride and where you ride. If you ride in a dusty area, you may want to clean it more often.. yes, you can tell by the darkness of it. the darker ,, the dirtier it gets. Just clean it and look at it after you ride and see if you can tell how fast it is getting dirty, then you will know how often you will want to change it.

Use a little diesel fuel to clean your filter and finish off with Dawn detergent. Keep several air filters onhand in a plastic bag. Do not oil your filter and then install it and start your quad. You will suck the sticky oil into your carb. I would let it sit at least overnight.
