Default Blaster Plug Check

I just put on my new reeds, and high compression gasket from Vitos. I also got a jet kit w/ a 290 and a 300 jet. When I was running just a pipe and airbox mods, I had a 280, and it ran GREAT. I put the 290 in w/ the new needle supplied from the kit on the middle clip, and it seems to have a good top end, the throttle response is lacking tho....
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
Josh

P.S.~The plug had a white tint to it when i did a plug check, and yes I had a new plug

Default Blaster Plug Check

Ok, I changed it to a 300 jet, and I changed the needle to the next bigger clip(I believe 4th; richer). It is now probably the best it has been since the new mods, but the low is still lacking. Is this just a fuel mixture problem?? or could it still be jetting?
The plug is still light brown, and my top end is pretty good, just the low end is bad.
Thanks
Josh
