Thanks for all the help guys! You make it sound possible, I am just frustrated from working on it all weekend and not out riding![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] I just want it to be reliable and don't want to buy FCR's to do it. Default 686 Stock carb blues

What needle are you using? CT? I don't know if you can get the gytr one sepperate or if you have to buy the kit but might want to consider it.
It sounds like you need to lower the needle or raise the clips a couple of notches.
It seems the CT needles are hard to tune that's why I asked.
