The two shees that I run with run 22x11x8 skat trak triple buffs on .125 douglas

 

how good is the low end for drag racing

 

they seem to have no problems. However the one has added large carbs, titanium back frame, 4" swimg arm and racing clutch along with motor mods (not sure exactly what) so it is a flame thrower

 

my geckos suck i want to get rid of they are junk

 

I was so close to buying a set of them, I am so glad I didn't. Almost everyone I know hates them.

 

I have some loner GBC sand devil 8 paddle on ITP .190. They do work awesome. I get enough slip so it doesnt wheelie off the line, and when I hit 2nd, say bye bye! The tires even lost all the air pressure, and they were still running nice through the sand.. I am running a 17 tooth front, so it spins ALOT of the line..

I would say for your machine 20 or 21" tires with 8 paddles is plenty of paddle. Even when you pipe it the 8 paddles will be plenty of hook-up. Put too many paddles on there and you will loose a lot of top end speed and overall power. I run 22" 8 paddle Dune Hoppers which I like. I have 20" 10 paddle haulers and they drag the machine down too much.
