had my heart set on getting a raptor. but after this weekend out at glamis i just don't know any more. from what i saw there will never be a four stroke that could beat a banshee. i do ride trails alot, but the fastest raptor this weekend couldn't beat the slowest banshee.

 

Nothing will ever take the banshees place in the dunes. However it isnt a trail bike. Its power band is really snappy. There is plenty of mods that can be done to a banshee. Its been around for a long time now. Its very rare that u see a banshee thats bone stock. Its a hard decision. Theres really no right or wrong.

 

yeah i agree, it all depends on what riding you mainly do. If you like to race, hill climb, or ride dunes go banshee. If you trail ride, the raptor is the PERFECT quad and still have tons of power too.

 

i ride both dunes and trails. in a perfect world i would like to get both. but married with child i am having a hard enough time saving up for one. and i ride both equally, but maybe a little more trails. so i will most likly end up with a raptor. don't get me wrong a raptor if a great quad, but when i'm out at glamis or pismo, or any other sand, i enjoy watching the shee's kick everyones a$$. but when i get my raptor, were going to put a 490 in the blaster and make it a drag only. so maybe that will take this place of a shee for me[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

I don't know what kinf of mods they had done to these slow Raptors but there are very few shee s I haven't been able to beat and they have all been running something other than gas!!

 

obviosly you have never been to glamis on a holiday weekend.
