can anyone give me a definate answer on this one? Is there anyone out there running pump gas with an 11:1 compression piston? Airraptor how long have you been runnig your bike on pump gas? thanks.

 

I have the 12:1 JE 102mm in my Rappy. I run it on 50/50 Unocal 110 and premium 92. Currently that makes average cost about $3.50 per gallon. I havent tried running straight 92 yet as I'd like to work out other factors such as jetting before attempting it. I'd guess that it's better to err on the side of caution and jet a bit fat if you're running 92 straight.

 

You can run them all on pump gas as long as you are not having detantion problems. To much octane is bad and not enough is worse. We had to run the small craycraft on race fuel at glamis up the hill but it would do okay on super the rest of the time. I ran on 100-102 octane most of the time but 107 when i am at the strip. No need to cause problems. You can figure it out for yourself as you ride.

 

white, I am running an 11/1, 102mm bore, stage 2 cam, and dual springs. I have never used race gas. BUT I my cam is 6 degrees retarded which I am sure keeps the detonantion problems down. So that may not be much help but I thought I would add it.

 

I'm running pump gas (sunocco 94) JE 11:1, stock bore. runs great
