Default Painting Plastics!

Some time ago there was a topic about painting plastics and I said that I was going to do mine! Well we done them this past weekend and they turned out GREAT. I'm not sure how they will hold up, but I will let you know. I am waiting on getting my pipes back (ceramic coating) and getting the new side case back (after the oil line crack incident). After that I will get some pics up!

Anyway was just wanting to let people know that the painting thing at least looks good, and only time will tell about durability.

<---- keeping fingers crossed.

I ride with some guys that have their plastic painted. It holds up real well but the primer is important. They use primer made for plastic bumpers.

I saw a commercial on television that TrueValue or Ace Hardware just came out with a line of paint fomulated just for plastics. It is supposed to "fuse" itself to plastic. I tried to find the paint but my store didn't have it in yet.
